The Akwa Ibom Guild of Community Development Advocates (AKGCODA) is the recognised umbrella body for civil society organisations in Akwa Ibom State. We bring together over 120 NGOs, CBOs, and faith-based groups committed to strengthening citizen voices, promoting accountability, and advancing inclusive development across all 31 LGAs.
The Guild of Community Development Advocates in Akwa Ibom State (AKGCODA) serves as the collective voice of civil society organisations across Akwa Ibom State. Since its establishment, the Forum has worked to strengthen citizen participation, promote transparent governance, build organisational capacity, and foster partnerships that improve the lives of communities.
Our network brings together organisations working in governance, gender equality, youth development, environmental sustainability, health, education, social accountability, and community empowerment.
